U.S. Figure Skating/PSA Certification
In
cooperation with the Professional Skaters Association (PSA), U.S. Figure Skating will require the mandatory continuing education
requirement (CER) for all U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned events as of July 1, 2010. The rational behind this requirement,
is to set a standard of a foundational level of education for coaches with regard to Sport Safety, Ethics, U.S. Figure Skating
Rules, and International Judging System Rules (IJS). This site will allow professionals to achieve their required Annual Core
Credits (ACC) in the most convenient way, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Coaches have until July 2010 to complete
their mandatory continuing education and annually thereafter. Click on the U.S. Figure Skating/PSA Certification link
above for detailed information.
